After I rode for awhile, I went back to the car for my sketchbook which I try and take with me all the time now.Number 40 is something with folds and I decided a beautiful little fan from Japan was perfect for the challenge. Number 106 was sour or tart. I think this simple drawing could use a little more work but I like the simplicity and fresh quality is has.
I bought two Robert Bateman sketchbooks and numbered all the pages, each book will hold 100. This way, I can do all the EDM challenges and have them all together in one place. I've only done about six of them so far.....so this might take awhile.

Your sketches and studies are very good. Don't ever forget to take your sketbook with you! I like these lemmons composition, it could look great as a pattern for some fabric, don't you think? Cool.

What a lovely park to ride your bike on. It’s also an inspiring place to sketch. I like the idea of numbering your sketch book for the EDM challenge. I hope you will have a wonderful time filling up your book. Your fan painting looks very pretty and dainty. And after seeing your print works, I can see how you have a marvelous way in making design as in the sour tart piece.
These are gorgeous - I particularly love the lemons. I have a fan from Japan too, so I will have to get round to drawing it.
