A little art every day seems to go a long long way. Draw some lines here fast and free, a splash of color and it's a memory.

Another Day at Armstrong
Last weekend my friend, Liz, wanted to try her hand at
sketching. I suggest going to our local Armstrong Nursery and sketching there. We had a great time and she really jumped right in. Way to go Liz!
Of course there are always great plants and flowers but there are also lots of interesting architectural items and fun decorations. It is always so colorful.
And don't forget those fun and funky garden ornaments. I really enjoy putting together interesting things on a page. I end up with some wild compositions and the page tells it's own story.

Another delightful collection of goodies...I did something similar this summer at a local garden shop when back in Illinois...had an absolute ball! A fascinationg place to draw! :)
What a fun way to spend the day with a friend and with such enduring results.
Good work. Unique style. Amusing and fun.
Beautiful sketches, all of them. You're lucky. I asked one day to sketch the fish in our local nusrery and I was told to ask permission by written letter!

I have such fond memories of playing at the local nursery when I was little while my parents shopped for plants! I might have to join you sometime to sketch there!
Deborah, Your attention to the details is oh, so amazing. Love the way you look at life. You have some very wonderful illustrations.
